Relax in the beautiful countryside of the Axe Valley on our working dairy farm, just outside the peaceful East Devon village of Musbury.
We have two traditional, stone, holiday cottages set in spacious, pretty gardens with glorious views over the fields towards the distant vineyard, nestling under Musbury Castle, and back across the Axe Valley to the coast at Seaton and the cliffs at Beer (only 10 mins).
Our Grade 2 listed, cottages have architectural features such as inglenook fireplaces, beamed ceilings and window seats.
The generously- sized, rooms are well-equipped and tastefully furnished, offering a higher than average standard of accommodation.
Each property has its own, private garden for relaxing, alfresco dining or to simply enjoy gazing at the cows coming in to be milked.
Although, we are situated down a winding, leafy lane we are within minutes of beaches at Lyme Regis and Seaton. Beer fishing harbour is close by and Branscombe, of Napoli fame, a little further on.
A 5 minute car journey will enable you to reach: the bird watching paradise on the Axe River Estuary at Axmouth; The Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliff National Nature Reserve; the World Heritage Trust Jurassic Coast Area or to simply enjoy a stroll along a lakeside footpath.
We are also only 10 minutes drive from Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's new River Cottage Headquarters, at Park Farm, Musbury or his Canteen Restaurant in Axminster.
